Project Title: Quality Standards Ontology for Web Services Discovery
Abstract: In particular, the quality properties of the services are only considered marginally and the origin of the definitions and metrics is not provided, making difficult common understanding and retrieval of the right concepts. This project proposes an ontological approach to Web services discovering based on a semantic matching process of functional and nonfunctional requirements. This project integrates three software product quality standards at different abstraction levels, to unify the terminology. this Web service discovery process involves as main activities, the matching of functional and non functional requirements, and the ranking according to preferences; three main ontologies are also considered: an ontology integrating quality standards, to identify a quality property and retrieve its metrics, an ontology on preferences to rank functionality and/or service qualities and enrich the service discovery process and finally an ontology to model dynamic knowledge on the quality of the services. To prove the quality of the study, the candidate will use a domain ontology, use The ISO/IEC 13236 for Quality of Service use current techniques based on SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol), WSDL (Web Services Description Language) and UDDI with XML
