Project Title:	Augmented Reality Content Service
Abstract:	Augmented Reality Content Service: This project involves developing a scalable data store designed to serve augmented reality constructs to mobile clients over the network. The work will be focused on developing the infrastructure to index, query and serve AR content. The clients will be able to query the server based on location, context, keywords, and AR markers, if available. The work is based on solving the following design problems: The reification of various forms of AR content (which can typically be any form of multimedia, including 3D meshes) as storable, serializable objects. The development of a simple query protocol. The development of indexing methods to quickly retrieve the correct objects based on context, location and query parameters. A simple client will also have to be developed to test the server and provide a demo. The image tracking and processing necessary in the client can be done within an available library such as ARToolkit and is not the main part of the project.
