Abstract:
This Project is a mobile multi-player arcade style game. It aims to capture the old school fun experienced at arcades. The idea of the Project is based on a simple arcade car race, inspired by fairly successful games of this genre, like Mashed, Twisted Metal, FlatOut, Burnout. However there has been no attempt to bring these games to hand-held/mobile devices. Our aim is to design and develop this idea for these platforms. These platforms will challenge our ability further together with 3D graphics and mobile networking. It will allow us to become familiar with tools that have become industry standards.
