Security Engineering
Abstract:
Due to the importance of security as a non-functional property in the development of highly distributed software solutions, it is necessary to provide simple guidelines that will help students to understand not only the principles behind security engineering, but also how to write code that is robust and secure against malicious attacks (e.g. buffer overflows, insecure exception handling, improper use of cryptographic algorithms).
